Having a raw food diet plan

If you have recently become a raw foodist, you are going to want to have a raw food diet plan in place.  Now this plan is going to be something that you are going to create yourself.  And the reason why you are creating your raw food diet plan yourself is because you know what you like to eat.  You know what your family likes to eat.  So what better way to ensure that the plan you put in place doesn’t simply work, but that it succeeds than to set it up yourself? Ok so what is the most important factor when it comes to creating a raw food diet plan?  The people who are actually going to consume the food, they are the most important factor.  You are going to have to make sure that your plan encompasses those things that your family enjoys to eat the most.  So for instance if you have a couple of kids who like cookies, your diet plan is going to need to ensure that you have some type of cookies in place.  You will need to have them as you transition.  If your spouse enjoys a bowl of fluffy popcorn with a movie every Saturday evening, then you are going to want to make sure that you have popcorn to transition them.  This is going to be your thought process as you are creating this diet plan.

Then you are going to want to make sure that while you are keeping the things that they enjoy eating, you are also teaching them how to eat a raw food in its place or a natural product.  So I talked about the popcorn with movies.  Well they can still have it, but instead of the microwave, super oily, extra movie butter version, why not pop a fresh batch of air popped organic popcorn.  Or pick up a bag of organic Kettle corn from a natural grocery.  They will love it.

As you are making the raw food diet plan, keep in mind that you are replacing a lot of your foods with natural ones.  You don’t have to make the change overnight.  Also keep in mind that you are going to want to make sure that you have made a balanced plan when moving to the raw food diet.  You don’t want to make the change and then only eat a certain type of natural food.  While you are going to get a lot of nutrients from the various raw items, you are still going to need to make sure that you are eating balanced meals.  This will help you better digest and absorb all those good vitamins and minerals that are naturally in raw foods.
