Yummy raw foods recipes 

If you are a raw foodist and you are just getting started, you may want to find places to fuel your memory recipe banks.  But if you are like me, you would much rather mix and match your own foods instead of going by a raw food meal plan.  So what do you need to do to find raw foods recipes? I say go straight to the internet. 

Now I really enjoy finding different raw foods recipes and making them my own.  And if that is one of the things that you enjoy as well then you are going to need to make sure that you have a large pool of recipes to chose from.  You can look at various cookbooks for raw foodist or you can look on the internet.  This of course happens to be my favorite place to find everything. See more raw foods recipes here.

I have found several websites that specialize in raw foods recipes.  And the nice thing about these sites is that they don’t just offer you recipes for a few things, oh no sir, they are complete.  I have found the ability to make a five to six course meal from one website.  They offer hundreds of recipes in one location.  I was able to create a meal with basically cocktails, appetizers, soup, salads, entrée’ and finally two very wonderful deserts.  And dare I say my dinner was a huge success, that was an understatement.  The most interesting thing of all was that I not only created several raw foods recipes, but I got people who don’t like raw foods to sit down and eat it.  Let me rephrase that, I got them to enjoy and ask for seconds to a completely raw food meal. Amazing, I know!!!  I myself was ecstatic beyond words. 

Depending on the types of foods you like, you can even cater the recipes that you can find to those types of foods.  Say for instances you are a big Italian food fan.  You may be surprised to learn that there are several raw foods recipes for vegetable lasagna and several other amazing lasagnas.  There are recipes for linguini and several other pastas. So you don’t have to give up your love of Italian foods.

I myself have a sweet tooth and I do love a good desert, so I was thrilled when I found recipes for brownies and cookies and pies.  I found several raw foods recipes for pies, and I’m talking with a crust and everything.  Not just a bunch of sliced fruit.  When I say I was excited, that was an understatement.  And my dinner guest almost finished it off without me getting a slice.  If you are looking to find outstanding raw foods recipes  look no further than the nearest computer.  Your tastes buds will thank you for it.

My take on raw food recipies

Who comes up with raw food recipies, have you ever wondered that?  I have many times.  I found some recipes on line and even in some cook books that made me wonder; who would sits down and calls this a recipe.   I’m not sure where it says that if you are a raw foodist, your food shouldn’t have any taste.  If someone can please tell me where to find these rules; because I’d like to see them. So many wonderful flavors exist today and they are natural.  They aren’t manufactured in a factory or on a production line.  They are grown in back yards or herb gardens.  They are found in the fragrant vegetables and legumes even in nuts.  So why are there so many raw food recipies that are bland or are only seasoned with sea salt?  I’m not sure why most recipes don’t include them. 

I have found a few cook books that believe in not just eating to be healthy, but also to enjoy what you are eating.  These offer various recipes for raw food and they are all very fragrant and well seasoned with all raw items.  Basil, thyme and parsley, yum, I can’t tell you how wonderful those herbs are, especially in soups and dressings.  Yes I have seen garlic being used in some items but mainly the long timed favorite of a lot of raw food recipes happens to be sea salt. 

Ok well I’m a try it at home and then improve on it kind of person.  So that is basically what I have decided I would do when it comes down to the bare bones raw food recipies.  I find them, like the concept and then take it to the next level.  There a lot of foods that I enjoyed when I ate unhealthy and it wasn’t because the actual food was so good, no it was because of the taste of the food.  I enjoyed the way the chef blended the seasonings.  I liked the way every one of my taste buds were assaulted when I put the particular food in my mouth.  I am translating that now to my raw food recipes. See more raw food recipies here.

In the end you should make the raw food recipies that you find work for you.  If you decide to change up the recipe make sure that you keep the ingredients the same, raw.  There is no substitute for that.  But whatever you do, make sure you enjoy your raw food, every single bite of it.

A lot of people try and take a short cut when starting a raw food diet.  Many people use the same method of doing a quick online search, reading a few articles, assume they are educated on the fundamentals of the diet and begin looking for raw foods recipes.  They figure that if they have the recipes they are all set.  This is a huge mistake as, just like information on the diet is inaccurate, so are most recipes found online.  Before you continue looking for recipes alone, consider the option of obtaining recipes from a comprehensive guide that educates you and makes your life, and diet easier.  This is what everyone needs.

The source I refer my friends and family to (after they give me a long list of reasons why a raw food diet is unrealistic) is called The Raw Secrets.  The second edition gives you the tools and information you need, it is accurate of course, and this gives you all the raw foods recipes you can imagine.  The combinations are countless since, once you know the ‘how’ and ‘why’, you’ll be able to notice an inaccurate recipe in a moment and not make a mistake.  Additionally, you’ll learn the tips, tricks and secrets that make a raw food diet easy, doable and beneficial.  If you go about this diet the wrong way you will not feel better nor get better, so you could be wasting time.
