Raw food diet recipes for dinner parties

Have you wondered how you were going to come up with raw food diet recipes for your dinner parties?  If you are anything like me, then this is a question that has come across your mind, at least once or twice since you’ve changed your diet.  I love to throw together a small, but elegant dinner party more often than not.  I love the sound of my friends laughing and eating good food and drinking delicious beverage concoctions with them.

My friends are always excited when they get an invitation because they know they are in for something new, you could say that I use them as my guinea pigs.  And they actually love it.  So while I’m not so nervous I can’t cook them something, I’m still concerned as to how it will be received.  Oh sure my friends eat raw veggies, with dip.  They call that crudités’, sure I know they’ll eat small amounts for the sake of calling it an appetizer, but I truly am at a loss for the main fares.  So I need to develop a strategy that is going to work well.  See more raw food diet recipes here.

So I was thinking about perhaps doing a half and half kind of thing.  You know doing some raw and some cooked.  But I’m trying to figure out the right balance of raw vs. cooked.  So I was thinking about the following raw food diet recipes.  Smoked Salmon, steamed asparagus, a huge salad filled with spinach, carrots, green peppers, red peppers, romaine lettuce, red shredded cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers topped with pine nuts and flax seed, drizzled with olive oil and parsley.  That would be the main event.  I was thinking also about perhaps doing a cold soup, something like a broccoli blend seasoned just right, I don’t think they will notice that it was raw at all.

Perhaps for my final raw food recipe a chocolate soufflé or perhaps a chocolate fruit tart.  Yummy, the thought of decadent chocolate layered throughout the various layers of fruit on a crushed pecan/almond pie shell with a double dipped circle of chocolate covered strawberries on top.  Oh my word, I’m making myself hungry.  I don’t know, with these raw food diet recipes I’m thinking that I might just be able to pull this off.

Finding good raw food diet recipes

I have been searching lately to find raw food diet recipes that I enjoy.  I’m not talking about the barley and raisin cookie or a wheat salad.  No, I’m not talking about those types of recipes at all.  I’m talking about the kind of recipe that makes you want seconds, something like a strawberry pie or fudge.  Oh yes is your mouth watering, are you thinking that I’m absolutely crazy?  Well I’m not.

There are actual raw food diet recipes available that allow you to enjoy the foods that most other people enjoy.  Oh sure they may taste a little different, but it’s not because they aren’t good, it’s because they are healthier for you.  You can eat almost everything that regular people eat; hamburgers, chips, pizza, pasta, and so on and on.  The difference is in the way they are being prepared and their ingredients. Go here for additional  Raw Food Diet Recipes information.

Having the benefits of creating raw food recipes allows you to enjoy your foods in their natural state without losing the flavor of them or the nutrients.  I had a pizza from one of my raw food recipes and of course I thought how is this really going to taste?  Am I going to enjoy this or not?  To my surprise, I had to stop myself from eating the whole entire thing in one sitting.  None of my ingredients were cooked.  Not even the pizza crust. And for all of you who are wondering if I pre-purchased the already cooked crust.  The answer is, no I did not!

You can find plenty of delicious raw food diet recipes online.  A lot of them are for free or they simply require that you sign up to the newsletter that the website may offer.  And signing up isn’t a bad thing.  They will offer you the most recent recipe of the week or day or month, you will get tips on how to make your foods taste even better than they do now.
