A Raw Food Diet Menu

Ever wonder what happened to all the wonderful raw food diet menu options that you had when you first started eating a raw food diet?  You wonder where your inspiration has gone.  Well you aren’t the only one. Oh sure, you are eating healthy now more than ever, but oh my goodness it is starting to feel boring after all this time.  But in reality it’s only been two very short weeks.  If you’re bored already, how are you going to possibly make this a lifestyle change?

I’m one of those people who believe that if you make it, you’ll enjoy it better, but I am often time stumped at what to make.  I don’t like to eat the same things over and over again, no matter how much I enjoy the taste of an item.  When I ate outside of a raw food diet menu, I hated not having a large variety then.  I hate being limited now.

I figured I could only make raw pizza so much before I never wanted to hear the words, much less eat the food again.  So I wondered what those individuals who were vegans all their lives or extended periods of time did to keep their raw food diet interesting.  So I asked around and here is what they shared with me.

For starters, I have to stop thinking about the past, when I ate this meal or that meal for the purpose of comparison.  I should think like that for the purpose of recreating a raw food diet menu  item that I’m going to enjoy. Ok got that.

Then I should make sure that I buy a variety of foods that allow some flexibility in the way I eat them.  For instance, I can buy cucumbers and use them in a salad, or as a sandwich.  Or tomatoes, they can be used in a salad, as a dip, as salsa, as soup, etc.  You see these veggies are flexible that way I can change up the way I utilize them in my meals.

Finally, don’t be afraid to try new things.  That way, you can get a feel for a larger variety.  And even though the item isn’t something that you would put in a raw food diet menu right off the back, you may after you’ve tried it.  Customizing the new items to your tastes also helps.  Once it’s yours so to speak, you can add it to your menu and bring back the variety to your meals.

So I’m going to try these things out and see how they work.  Best of luck to you as you do the same.  Be healthy and happy as you eat natural foods.  This raw food diet menu plan is highly recommended.

Your raw food diet meal plan

Are you feeling like you are stumped on what menu you should plan for your raw food diet weekly, daily, heck even for the first meal?  Are you searching for ideas that you don’t seem to have?  What you need is a raw food diet meal plan.  You are probably thinking I can’t seem to figure out what I’m eating for my next meal, how am I going to come up with a meal plan?
See more about a Raw Food Diet Meal Plan here.

That’s what I’m going to try and help you to do.  I’m going to see if I can’t get your creative juices going by providing you with some samplings of how to come up with a raw food diet meal plan.  I am going to provide the shell to create plans that are going to be different and tasty; something for you to look forward to making.  Not the normal, drink one glass of a celery and barley shake, eat an organic rice cake and some raisins.  While there is nothing wrong with that, it may feel a little blah to you.  It most certainly does to me.  So let’s see what we can come up with that might be just as nutritious, but with more flair and pizzazz, no not pizza, pizzazz.

Ok so what do you need to have when you are building your diet plan?  You first need to have the items that you love.  If you are fruit person, then you want to have your favorite fruits in mind and then you are going to work them into at least one of your meals.  You don’t want to have the same things in every meal even if you love it, because after a while, you will get tired of it and lose interest.  You don’t want that.  A good example of a meal plan if you loved peaches, pears and pineapples could go something like this.

Breakfast – Organic granola cereal, with almond milk, pineapples and cashews

Lunch – Raw fruit salad which includes pears, apples, melons, raisins and pine nuts

Dinner – Raw Veggie taco and frozen peaches blended into the form of sorbet

Now isn’t that more interesting to your taste buds and a better way to start your raw food diet meal plan compared to blending a bunch of organic veggies in a blender and drinking that.  Oh and seeing that you can still have some cooked items, you can make different variations to some of the foods that you may have completely raw or normally without cooked items.

I hope you are feeling inspired to create wonderful raw food diet meal plans and that you make sure that in everything you put together, you enjoy them.  Remember why you are doing this and enjoy the very tastes of each item.  Take your time and savor the foods, it will be worth every bite.

A balanced raw food diet meal plan

There is a big misconception going on with individuals when it comes down to a raw food diet.  A lot of them feel like you can’t eat anything but 100% raw foods.  The reality is that living in a country without a lot of natural fruit and veggie sources, that’s not always an option.  And because of that one has to ensure that they have a balanced raw food diet meal plan in place.   This is where things can become difficult because we do lack an abundance of natural food sources.

Having a balanced raw food diet meal plan in place will help to ensure that you as a raw foodist, will not suffer from lack of vital vitamins and minerals.  I’ve come across plenty of articles that stated that once you eat all nothing but fruits and veggies and nuts, you’ll have every single nutrient that you could possibly need.  Heck I think I might have even said that a time or two myself.  The truth is if we lived in a country that was teaming with natural produce resources this would more than likely be accurate, but we don’t.  We live in a country where they have to create hybrid fruits in order to give us a better variety.  Take a look at what raw food diet meal plan we recommend.

So what do you need to do to ensure that the foods you eat provide you with all the nutrients that you would normally get from eating a variety of cooked and even some processed foods?  Well on of the things that you can do to ensure that your raw food diet meal plan is balanced is eat some of those cooked foods.  Oh yes, I know you have been reading and everything you’ve read says you should be a 100% vegan.  Listen; there is nothing wrong with eating some cooked food.  The thing is the type of cooked foods that you are eating.  Don’t go out and get white rice and over cooked spinach and regular everyday hormone induced beef.  No you are would eat a cup of brown rice with perhaps a vegetarian raised, no hormone digested piece of beef.  And the rest of your meal would be all raw.  You see, you can still receive the necessary vitamins and minerals from those foods.  Yes even if they are cooked.

In keeping with balance you don’t want to have the food so cooked that it’s dead.  Certain grains are going to need to be soaked first and then cooked quickly, keeping the food as natural as possible without it being raw.  Same with some roots and veggies that you are not able to digest raw; see you can’t eat everything totally raw.  It takes a lot of patience and research to ensure that while you are on a raw food diet meal plan that it Is a balanced one.  It’s important to your healthy.  To continue to ensure that the raw foods you are eating keep you healthy.  Take a look at the raw food diet meal plan we highly recommend.
