Having a raw food diet plan

Are you one of those people who have a plan for everything?  Does your entire life seem to work off of a finely tuned schedule?  If so and you are transitioning to a raw food diet you are definitely going to want to have this set up like your life.  Having a raw food diet plan will most certainly be a must for your life, especially if it’s an active one.

Most people don’t necessarily eat by a plan and often times that is what assists in their weight gain or their inability to control their weight.  Or it contributes to poor health, fatigue and the onset of various illnesses.  But with a raw food diet plan in place you can focus less on what you’re putting into your body and focus on the other important things going on in your life. Find out here why you need a raw food diet plan.

This is also almost a must when you are starting out and if you are transitioning children to a raw food diet as well.  And the reason behind this is that most individuals who are just starting out need guidance in how they should eat, which helps in ensuring their meals are balanced.  If you happened to be one of those rare individuals who do not, then I’m a little jealous of you.  When I first started my raw food diet, I had various plans.  I needed a plan for if I happened to forget my meals or if I happened to eat out instead of preparing my own food.  I needed a plan to transition my family from what we used to eat to the new raw diet that I was putting them on.  And if your family is anything like mine, they need to know what they are eating way before they eat it.

If you are one of those individuals who happen to be very active then you are going to have a raw food diet plan that addresses all your meals.  Including those "on the go" type meals.  You know the ones that you can just grab and eat on the way out the door.  Your plans are going to contain more details in regards to how they are balanced because you are addressing specific replacement fuel needs.

Now if you fit into any of the situations that I mentioned you can probably see how you would need to come up with a raw food diet plan of your own.  It’s not hard once you sit down and decide to do it.  You can use the internet to help you with menu options and recipes to create fun and easy plans that both you and your family will enjoy for years to come.  And your body will thank you for it.  Find out why a raw food diet plan is so important if your looking for the best results possible.

Raw Food Diet Menu

A Raw Food Diet Menu

Ever wonder what happened to all the wonderful raw food diet menu options that you had when you first started eating a raw food diet?  You wonder where your inspiration has gone.  Well you aren’t the only one. Oh sure, you are eating healthy now more than ever, but oh my goodness it is starting to feel boring after all this time.  But in reality it’s only been two very short weeks.  If you’re bored already, how are you going to possibly make this a lifestyle change?

I’m one of those people who believe that if you make it, you’ll enjoy it better, but I am often time stumped at what to make.  I don’t like to eat the same things over and over again, no matter how much I enjoy the taste of an item.  When I ate outside of a raw food diet menu, I hated not having a large variety then.  I hate being limited now.

I figured I could only make raw pizza so much before I never wanted to hear the words, much less eat the food again.  So I wondered what those individuals who were vegans all their lives or extended periods of time did to keep their raw food diet interesting.  So I asked around and here is what they shared with me.

For starters, I have to stop thinking about the past, when I ate this meal or that meal for the purpose of comparison.  I should think like that for the purpose of recreating a raw food diet menu  item that I’m going to enjoy. Ok got that.

Then I should make sure that I buy a variety of foods that allow some flexibility in the way I eat them.  For instance, I can buy cucumbers and use them in a salad, or as a sandwich.  Or tomatoes, they can be used in a salad, as a dip, as salsa, as soup, etc.  You see these veggies are flexible that way I can change up the way I utilize them in my meals.

Finally, don’t be afraid to try new things.  That way, you can get a feel for a larger variety.  And even though the item isn’t something that you would put in a raw food diet menu right off the back, you may after you’ve tried it.  Customizing the new items to your tastes also helps.  Once it’s yours so to speak, you can add it to your menu and bring back the variety to your meals.

So I’m going to try these things out and see how they work.  Best of luck to you as you do the same.  Be healthy and happy as you eat natural foods.  This raw food diet menu plan is highly recommended.

Raw food diet recipes for dinner parties

Have you wondered how you were going to come up with raw food diet recipes for your dinner parties?  If you are anything like me, then this is a question that has come across your mind, at least once or twice since you’ve changed your diet.  I love to throw together a small, but elegant dinner party more often than not.  I love the sound of my friends laughing and eating good food and drinking delicious beverage concoctions with them.

My friends are always excited when they get an invitation because they know they are in for something new, you could say that I use them as my guinea pigs.  And they actually love it.  So while I’m not so nervous I can’t cook them something, I’m still concerned as to how it will be received.  Oh sure my friends eat raw veggies, with dip.  They call that crudités’, sure I know they’ll eat small amounts for the sake of calling it an appetizer, but I truly am at a loss for the main fares.  So I need to develop a strategy that is going to work well.  See more raw food diet recipes here.

So I was thinking about perhaps doing a half and half kind of thing.  You know doing some raw and some cooked.  But I’m trying to figure out the right balance of raw vs. cooked.  So I was thinking about the following raw food diet recipes.  Smoked Salmon, steamed asparagus, a huge salad filled with spinach, carrots, green peppers, red peppers, romaine lettuce, red shredded cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers topped with pine nuts and flax seed, drizzled with olive oil and parsley.  That would be the main event.  I was thinking also about perhaps doing a cold soup, something like a broccoli blend seasoned just right, I don’t think they will notice that it was raw at all.

Perhaps for my final raw food recipe a chocolate soufflé or perhaps a chocolate fruit tart.  Yummy, the thought of decadent chocolate layered throughout the various layers of fruit on a crushed pecan/almond pie shell with a double dipped circle of chocolate covered strawberries on top.  Oh my word, I’m making myself hungry.  I don’t know, with these raw food diet recipes I’m thinking that I might just be able to pull this off.

If you are looking for more variety for your dinner parties, don’t hesitate to go to the internet and look up raw food diet recipes for yourself.  Take them and get creative.  Remember to balance them well.  I’m thinking that this dinner party is going to be a hit.  Live healthy, happy and natural! What is a raw food diet?

A raw food diet is primarily comprised of uncooked, unprocessed, and often organic and sustainably raised plant-based foods. Most of the raw foodists I know do not consume animal products of any kind, nor foods containing chemically processed or pasteurized ingredients. While some raw foodists include raw (unpasteurized) dairy products, raw meat, raw eggs, and sushi into their diets, the majority of those who self-identify as "raw foodists" are vegan. While the exact definition of raw food varies, a basic guideline for raw food is that it can not have been heated above 116° F (48° C).

Why go raw? The benefits of going raw are numerous. In addition to helping you feel great inside and out, studies have shown that eating live, enzyme-rich foods contain resources that can alleviate many illnesses, prevent many health problems, and strengthen the immune system. Raw foods can help you achieve a stable body-mass index, clear skin, more energy, and can help to minimize a range of common illnesses, from the flu to obesity-related illnesses.

Raw foodists eat uncooked fruits, vegetables, sprouts, nuts seeds, grains, and sea vegetables. There are numerous subdivisions of raw foodists too, and there are some great tasting raw food diet recipes out there if you search for them. We recommend this raw food diet site.

The enzymatic content present in our bodies is directly related to the quality of our health and longevity, says Rita Romano, author of Dining in the Raw. Enzymes are the catalysts of every chemical reaction in our body. Without them there can be no cellular division, immune system functioning, energy production, nor brain activity.

What are the benefits of a Raw Food diet?

Heating food over 116 degrees F destroys enzymes in food. All cooked food is devoid of enzymes, which are necessary for digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

It’s considered by many to be "better" for you for the simple fact that you eliminate all processed foods from your diet. No donuts and chips, etc. Whenever you cut that out, of course you will be healthier. There are, however, many considerations when switching from vegan to raw vegan. You’ll still need to get your additional nutrients (b12, l-cystine, etc.) but you’ll have to get them from other sources, since you won’t be eating fortified baked breads & cereals, etc.

How do you start a raw food diet?

I discovered how easy the raw food diet really was when I lost 15 pounds without even trying. I was on a raw food diet weight loss plan but not completely all of the time. For me it wasn’t all that hard since I found some great raw food diet recipes while doing a search online. You can ease into it at your own pace or dive in and change your life almost overnight. Going on a raw food diet can be similar to detoxifying your body, and there can be some side effects. You really should start slowly, with one or more raw meals per day, and one or more meals with a raw main dish and a small cooked side dish. This can be easier on your body as well as your habits.

Let’s start simple: decide now to add more fruits and raw vegetables to your diet. You can do this by adding fruits to your breakfast and salads to your lunch and dinner. Eat the fruits and salads (made with different vegetables, especially greens) before your meals. By eating them first, you make sure to eat them. Eat whatever you like after your fruits and vegetables.

Make sure to drink enough water before and in between your meals! Many people think they are hungry, when they are thirsty. First try water or herb tea, when you feel hungry. The best kind of raw food is organic food. Organic foods are now available in a wide variety of products, not just fruits but even cookies.
